Response to light, a plant grows in Phototropism. With the light is coming from, a plant will turn or tilt in the direction. That is phototropism if you have ever seen a plant on a windowsill bent slightly toward the window or in a pot bent towards the sunny side. The bending occurs on the cellular level when plant cells have a cell wall around them to give them rigidity and strength.
